Football Trials at Celtic and Portsmouth

It has been a busy few weeks for Ceri Morgan and Jordan Branch. The ProPlayers.co.uk members spent a week training with Scottish giants Celtic and then travelled down to the South Coast of England to trial with Portsmouth.

The U17 Wales Internationals are looking to secure scholarships at the Professional level, and they are certainly attracting alot of interest. ProPlayers.co.uk hopes to arrange a series of other trials for pre-season where we hope the boys will receive a firm contract offer.

U16 International joins ProPlayers!

The launch of our new webste is starting to gather momentum as we have this morning registered another great prospect, with 17 year old Ceri Morgan becoming the latest player to join ProPlayers.co.uk

The welsh U16 International is amongst a handful of other players who have signed to the website, dubbed the 'online transfer market' in the hope of attracting attention and landing a scholarship at a professional club in the UK.

ProPlayers.co.uk is a step up from the highly successful YouthPlayers.co.uk and offers senior level players who have been released or are looking to climb the football ladder the chance to grab the clubs attention.

Another Member, Another Trial!

YouthPlayers.co.uk continues to grow and so do our success stories.

This week we announced that member Elliot Atkin has signed a contract at the highly rated Mansfield Town academy. Its a great opportunity for Elliot and we all wish him the best of luck.

On a personal note I think its great that he has chosen to join a team, that maybe on the surface hasnt got the big club reputation, but care for the players and really go out of their way to ensure the development of talents such as Elliot.

Elliot has previously been at the Derby County academy, and via YouthPlayers.co.uk Premiership side Sheffield United were made aware of his availability and were indeed keen to offer him a place. But it is always a considered decision on which team to sign for and for various reasons Mansfield Town came up on top, and they have signed a player with huge potential.

YouthPlayers is delighted to announce that Anil Patel has joined our board of experts in 'The Academy' section.

Anil, who has recently completed his UEFA coaching licence, works for the successful QPR in the community scheme and will be offering his advice to all YouthPlayers members throughout the year.

"YouthPlayers offers a great opportunity for youngsters to get noticed and develop their game. Im looking forward to sharing my knowledge in 'The Academy' and helping members with their football questions."
